After 17 years in the music industry handling entertainment marketing for events with "A" level talent, corporate partners and non-profits, Shauna serves her clients with her unique style and understanding of monetizing creative assets. She provides sponsorship marketing, event production, music publishing catalog acquisitions, and song placement in film, television, advertising & digital platforms. During her ownership of AccessTalent from 2000 - 2009, she produced events raising funds for many different charities including The T.J. Martell Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The EAR Foundation, Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation, Willow Springs Boys Ranch, Muscle Shoals Music Association and more. She worked with many different "A" level performers and sponsors including Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Amy Grant, The Gaither Vocal Band, Kenny Loggins, Brooks & Dunn, multi-hit performing songwriters, Carhartt Apparel, Country Music Television, BMI, National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Comcast Television, Taylor Guitars, Salem Communications, Sam Ash Music Stores and others.
In 2009 Shauna accepted an offer with The Muzak Heart & Soul Foundation as Head of Sponsorship & Events where she partnered with the Key West Songwriters Festival as their first event beneficiary. She spent the next two years with Heart & Soul immersing students in the music industry educating them on career options for their musical talents. She took Heart & Soul to the next level by raising more funds & awareness in her two years with the organization than in all 10 years previously combined.
Shauna began her career in the Music Industry Relations office of Gaylord Entertainment in 1994. It was there she discovered her gifts and passion for working in the entertainment industry producing events with "A" level talent, corporate sponsors and charities. After two mergers with CBS and ultimately Viacom, she ventured out on her own with AccessTalent. She spent the next nine years honing her craft of sponsorship marketing through many IEG trainings for special events. One project she's most proud of was a breast cancer campaign with GRAMMY® winning artist Amy Grant called Positively Pink. Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Loggins and many other sponsors including American Airlines, Marriott Courtyard, Mills Corporation, Gibson Guitars and others raised awareness and funds for the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation. The money and awareness raised extended women's lives from clinical trials conducted by Dr. Denise Yardley.
Today she utilizes her passion for helping creatively gifted people, her 17 years experience and valuable industry contacts as entertainment marketer for the Better Angels Music Key West Songwriters Festival presented by BMI, On Location: MEMPHIS Film & Music Festival, Hearts Bluff Music, and a new reality TV show still in pre-production set to launch summer 2012. |
